LAVAL VIRTUAL RUNS THE 1st VIRTUAL EVENT WITH 6000 AVATARS ON APRIL 2020
As many other events like MWC, Global Industrie, SXSW, Tribeca, FMX, Vivatech, this great meeting is canceled due to the Covid.
The Laurent Chrétien team decides to recreate all the architecture of the real place in a Laval Virtual World and register 11.000 persons to participate to the panels, meetings, parties, and recreations on the beach with DJ sets and fireworks. 50 nationalities were on location with 200 suppliers and 150 conferences.
Identified with their name and LinkedIn profile access, people could speak each over behind their computer and exchange their contacts.

UNITY ACQUIRES WETA TO DEVELOP THE METAVERSE ON NOVEMBER 2021
Unity has acquired Weta Digital, the studio cofounded by Peter Jackson, for 1,625 billion US$.
Weta made the multi awarded special effects for Lord of the Rings, Avatars, Alita, Avangers and many others.
Unity will be able to developp the metarverse by using the tools, the pipeline, the technology and the talents. It's a major deal for the digital entertainment. Peter Jackson is keeping control of WetaFX dedicated to the feature film industry.
